The Parry Sound Pentecostal Tabernacle family has been a church in Parry Sound for over 100 years. We are a church who has and is in partnership and affiliation with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada. We are blessed and thankful for this journey and for its powerful heritage. Our name change is not a rejection or a separation from our past or a new direction for our future. Our name change is a statement that reflects our heart cry. We live in a world where religious words and insights have become lost and meaningless. For many the words pentecostal and tabernacle are unknown terms. Our name change to Bayside Family Church is attempt to communicate to a world no longer familiar with Christian lingo. We are a church that is a family and we are a family church. We have been moved as this family to put aside theological titles and speak to today’s culture. First things first. We want to speak the power of relationship; a personal relationship with Christ and with each other.
